Those opposing Airlift as distorting fact’s were you also concerned similarly when Bajirao Mastani gave a one sided story or was that cinematic improvement at that time. Those supporting Bajirao Mastani should also support airlift its cinematic freedom to do whatever they want to do. The reason i am talking about these two. 1) Lots of people had objections with people comparing stuff in recent sociopolitical scene’s, this is not past this is in span of 1-2 months. 2) both movies evoked different emotions. Bajirao was targeting his love life, airlift wanted to promote civilians on ground. so ya things were distorted in there favour. if you support one freedom support other even if you don’t like it. If you are against then you are against both.
And as for Junta we need to start looking at every single bit of media (news channel, news paper, news via twitter/facebook/reddit, historical movies and movies in general) with a pinch of salt. Not everything could be depicted online as it happened live. that will be non glamorous and this media circus will not work with non glamorous stuff. If you don’t believe me try watching nation’s favourite BIGG BOSS for 24x7 you will realise its boring. its interesting coz you see bits and pieces of data and you assume links. So in short, listen and see whatever they have to say but process and then make a call.
